How To Register A Dog In Pittsburgh

Dog Licenses

A license is required for every dog, age three-months and older, living in the City of Pittsburgh. Dog licenses and registration tags help to assist in finding lost pets.  Annual domestic dog licenses are valid from Jan 1st through December 31st of each year.

Getting a Dog License

  1. Click hither for the Dog License Awarding
  2. Print, complete, and sign the above application and mail along with cheque or money gild
  3. If you lot are applying for a spayed or neutered dog, yous must submit written verification from licensed doc of veterinary medicine or a written affidavit
  4. Make your check or money order payable to:

Domestic dog License Fees

Unspayed/unneutered:

The person who finds your dog but call 412-255-2575 with your registration number (on your domestic dog's tag).

  • 1 twelvemonth: $20.00
  • three year: $50.00
  • 12 year: $175.00

Spayed/neutered (delight send proof):

  • 1 year: $10.00
  • 3 year: $25.00
  • 12 year: $75.00
